Nationwide integrated marketing scheme conducted

BAGUIO CITY - The Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (Philhealth) conducted a nationwide integrated marketing scheme dubbed as ALAGA KA para sa maayos na buhay at the Elpidio Quirino Elementary School covered court at Irisan last May 22.

This aims to keep the members informed of their Philhealth coverage and benefits and other public health programs of the Department of Health (DOH). It also seeks to rally the support of everyone to become advocates of the National Health Insurance Program (NHIP) as informed and empowered members. It is our continuing commitment of delivering quality health care, specifically to the poor and the marginalized identified through the National Household Targeting System for Poverty Reduction (NHTS-PR) also known as the Listahan of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Philhealth together with the DOH, said Sherwin Jay Torreliza of Philhealth.

In his inspirational message, Mayor Mauricio Domogan urged the constituents specifically the poor to take the opportunity and avail of the benefits of Philhealth. Live a healthy lifestyle by eating vegetables, fruits and other healthy foods,” advised the mayor.

The ALAGA KA was launched simultaneously nationwide last March 24 and was conducted in the Province of Benguet for the Cordillera Region and subsequently, the conduct of the said activity followed across the region.
